1. Junior Sales Executive

At Thompson Leisure Limited (TLL) a rare opportunity has arisen for you to join the market leading dealer of Motorhomes and Campervans in Northern Ireland. 


The successful applicant will be working as part of a small self-motivated team with a combined 90 years-experience in the Motorhome industry.


The role will include the following:


  • Working alongside our existing experienced sales staff you will be expected to learn specification and technical knowledge quickly

  • Working to achieve set monthly Motorhome and Campervan sales targets

  • Carry out sales and handover processes

  • Committed to delivering customer excellence to encourage new and repeat sales

  • Office based and customer facing but you will also be required to attend shows and off site events  (Trade shows, open days etc.)

  • Maintenance of adequate records of all sales activities including customer contacts through our in-house CRM system

  • Monitor our website, stock pricing, special offers, promotions etc. and keep up to date with market trends and competitors. 

  • Excellent basic salary and commission package with the opportunity to step up to senior sales roll with earning potential of up to £40,000 per annum after one year.

2. Marketing Executive


At Thompson Leisure Limited (TLL) a rare opportunity has arisen for you to join the market leading dealer of Motorhomes and Campervans in Northern Ireland. 


We are on the hunt for a new Marketing Executive who will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of the business’ marketing through a range of different media platforms including; print, radio, events, direct mail, email, social media, PPC, SEO, blogs and the company website. You will be responsible for the marketing of new stock on arrival and presenting the product to all new and potential customers utilising the company’s database. You will also be involved in the final sales process administration in order to gain direct insight into TLL's customer’s.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual with a strong, and innovative marketing head, who can come up with powerful strategies using SEO, PPC, and other techniques to drive traffic to company pages and generate interest in company products and services. Ideally we want someone who has a knack for creating engaging written, graphic, and video content while staying up-to-date on the latest marketing technologies and trends.

The role:

To be considered for our Marketing position, it is essential that you demonstrate an ability to carry out all the tasks listed below:

  • Present product for sale on arrival, both online and at the showroom with associated displays

  • Assist in new and previous customer prospecting utilising our CRM system

  • Assist in final sales administration and documentation

  • Analyse our Google and Social platforms' analytics and present reports on marketing spend and results

  • Make recommendations to the management regarding google spend budget and changes that need to be made to the website to increase search engine rankings

  • Manage email and social media marketing as well as the company’s PPC, SEO and adwords

  • Oversee PPC campaigns and SEO techniques monitoring their performance and return on investment

  • Collate and report back monthly on performance statistics for all digital communications across all channels, using these statistics to influence future digital activity

  • With the rest of the team act as a brand guardian in terms of look and feel of company communications as well as tone of voice of copy

  • Develop engaging online content including clickbait, forums, videos, graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyse content success

  • Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI for marketing campaigns

  • Organise sales and advertising events

  • Meet and greet customers as required

  • Monitor our stock pricing and keep up to date with what our competitors are offering. Suggest ways in which to promote slow moving stock

  • Innovate and present new marketing platforms and strategies

  • Communicate effectively with a range of clients, the Thompson Leisure Management, and Team

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent IT skills including utilising Social Media marketing techniques via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Mail Chimp, Survey Monkey, etc.

  • Knowledge of SEO, PPC, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Content Management Systems, Photoshop, InDesign, Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft Office

  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of marketing

  • Experience of working to tight timelines

  • Flexible, adaptable and up for a challenge

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good at building and maintaining relationships

  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills

  • Full clean driving license

Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Previous online marketing experience ideally from the same or similar industry

  • Ideally degree educated with a minimum of a 2.1 in a relevant degree

  • A CIM qualification would be an advantage but not essential

  • Experience of HTML coding and Photoshop would be an advantage

  • Analytical and proactive approach to online marketing

  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

  • Google Adwords and Analytics Certifications are a plus

3. Motorhome Technician 


At Thompson Leisure Limited (TLL) a rare opportunity has arisen for you to join the market leading dealer of Motorhomes and Campervans in Northern Ireland. 


Due to further expansion of our business we are looking for experienced and qualified motorhome Technicians to join our friendly and busy team in Magheralin, County Armagh.


As you will be undertaking all aspects of motorhome and caravan habitation servicing, including pre-delivery inspections, upgrades and fitted extras; previous experience is essential.


Jobs will include:

  • Habitation Inspection

  • Mechanical servicing and repairs 

  • 12v and 240 volt repairs and installation

  • Heating system diagnosis and repairs

  • Gas Repairs and installation

  • Woodwork – Internal repairs

  • Fitting of accessories: Bike Racks, Awnings, TV aerials and Solar Panels

  • Warranty diagnosis and repairs

  • Electrical diagnosis and repairs

  • Water ingress 

**(If your experience covers any of the areas above, but not all, training can be provided).


Experience of:

- Electrical Low Voltage or Extra Low Voltage Systems

- Basic Caravan/Motorhome Servicing or equivalent

- Gas (would be a benefit)
